Audio Messages

We are happy to provide these messages for your use!  You will find a variety of messages here, some you can download freely and others you can purchase.  We will try to have them available in a variety of formats, but to start with you will find them as .wma files.  You should be able to download these to your personal mp3 player or just listen to them on your computer.

To download, just "right click" on the blue link and choose "Save Target As".  Your browser will prompt you the rest of the way.  If you want to load this to your mp3 player, you should be able to do that as a .wma file.  If you have an iPod, you will want to convert the file using the conversion software you received with your iPod.

These messages may differ in quality, depending on where and how they were produced.  Occasionally, as I travel, the messages are recorded in a group setting.  Sometimes they are recorded here in our "studio".

NOTE: I have deleted the first "One Better" file that we made in the office.  As I listened to it I really didn't like it.  So, the file that appears here was recorded recently at a church and should be much more pleasant for listening.

A Journey into Grace

This message is a chronicle of how God led us to begin the ministry of Grace for the Heart. We think you will enjoy this clear and light-hearted explanation of the work of God in one pastor's heart as he sought the answers for his own questions and for the hurting people with whom he worked. The text is Romans 4.

The Offense

This is a fairly deep message on the last half of John 6. Get your Bible out as you listen. The offense, of course, is the fact that it is not the Law that saves, but the Person of Jesus Christ. A great message for those who are wondering about Jesus' position on the Law.

Jesus and the Sinful Woman

This is a message I gave a few years ago in a series on the book of John. The text comes from John 8 and deals with the woman taken in adultery. There is an important teaching here about the attitude of Jesus toward sin.

I Am Righteous!

A few weeks ago a good friend gave me a CD unlike anything I had heard before. It was "Saturate" by Kevin Walker. (www.walkit.org) The CD is simply Kevin quoting Scripture with his beautiful music as a background. His Southern voice adds to the great effect of the words. But here's the best part: the Scripture passages all present the truth of who we are in Christ!
Kevin has given permission for us to give you a sample of what's on this CD. Listen to the first of 20 tracks right here.
Kevin has also given us permission to use this CD as a thank you for donations to Grace for the Heart. Go to our Donations page and see how you can get this great CD!

Listen

One Better

This is a message I have shared as I have traveled to various churches. Centered on 1 Corinthians 4:7 and the question, "What do you have that you did not receive?" All that we need, spiritually, is provided by the Lord and we should not be trying to add to it on our own. I think you will enjoy this message!
